NS Government to host public hikes in Protected Areas

May 18, 2005

Staff from the Protected Areas Branch of Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour will be conducting some outstanding guided tours of some of the provinces' 33 existing Protected Wilderness Areas this summer - including the two new ones at Gully Lake and Eigg Mountain-James River. This is a terrific opportunity for the public to see and learn more about some of Nova Scotia's most outstanding natural areas.
